Happy Fourth of July

Whether you are attending a barbecue, watching the fireworks or participating in a local parade, Independence Day brings to mind so many images of summer and America!
The primary purpose on July 4th, 1776 was to celebrate the birth of America as a nation. Now, it has become so much more across our country. It is a day filled with festivities that celebrate not only our nation, but the freedoms and independence that being an American citizen affords us.
Commemorating the signing of the Declaration of Independence is a time not only to celebrate, but should be a time of reflection on our countries values, mission, and ideals. So, today take a minute to think about our nation and the special place it has been and still can be! Think about your role as a citizen and how you can make a difference each day.
Happy 4th!
