Local Information for a Blustery Day!

Stay inside and be safe on this windy day!

General Safety:

  • Have on hand: batteries and use flashlights for emergency lighting!

  • Fill any medications prior to an impending storm! If not feeling well seek medical care prior to inclement weather!

  • Avoid the use of candles as they can present a fire hazard!

  • Unplug computers and other electrical equipment not on a surge supressor / protector until power returns to avoid a surge!

  • When using a generator or surface heater be mindful of ventilation and fire safety.

  • Perhaps leave a light turned on so that you are aware of when the power is restored.

  • Stay at home if possible to avoid issues and injury!
