TRICARE Retiree Dental Program- TRDP changes!

The TRDP will end on 12/31/18 and will be replaced by the Federal Employees Dental and Vision Insurance Program (FEDVIP).

FEDVIP offers a choice of 10 dental carriers, including Delta Dental.

Changes in dental coverage may sound confusing!

If you’re currently enrolled in the TRDP, you will not automatically be enrolled in a FEDVIP plan for 2019.

You must take action to have dental coverage in 2019. Enrollment is handled through BENEFEDS, which is the government-authorized and U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM)-sponsored enrollment portal.

If you intended to enroll in a FEDVIP plan before the end of the federal benefits open season on December 10, 2018, but were unable to for reasons beyond your control, visit benefeds.com to review your enrollment options.
