Stay inside and be safe on this windy day!
Have on hand: batteries and use flashlights for emergency lighting!
Fill any medications prior to an impending storm! If not feeling well seek medical care prior to inclement weather!
Avoid the use of candles as they can present a fire hazard!
Unplug computers and other electrical equipment not on a surge supressor / protector until power returns to avoid a surge!
When using a generator or surface heater be mindful of ventilation and fire safety.
Perhaps leave a light turned on so that you are aware of when the power is restored.
Stay at home if possible to avoid issues and injury!
Here are some perhaps helpful resources to have on hand!
